Chairs are made from parawood, from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, also known as the Pará rubber tree. It’s a less expensive hardwood that is very durable and takes stain well. It is also a sustainable and environmentally friendly option because it utilizes the tree’s wood after its latex production cycle ends. You always have the option to order your chairs in oak, walnut or maple but there will be an additional charge.
